Facendo sua un'antica tradizione, la legge italiana prevede che sia affidata una bandiera ad ogni reggimento, e descrive dettagliatamente Ie parti in cui essa e divisa: il drappo. Pasta e la freccia. La freccia e comunque e dovunque considerata "la parte importante e morale" della bandiera poiche, se il drappo si logora e viene sostituito, la freccia resta ad indicare la perpetuita della tradizione.
Following on from an ancient tradition. the Italian law dictates that each regiment shall have a flag, and describes in great detail the parts it is divided into: the cloth, the staff and the pennant. The pennant is always considered "the important and moral part" of the flag since, if the cloth becomes worn and is substituted, the pennant remains to indicate the perpetuation of the tradition.
